I feel like chatgpt came around and everyone immediately forgot what they were doing to get stuff done before. like writing centers, extensions, extra help, templates, office hours, beta readers, random generators, and art and writing prompts have all existed for ages. even if you were cheating there’s always been sparknotes, photomath, copying, paying someone else to do it, faking that your grandma died, and whatever. all of that stuff is more reliable and doesn’t fuck over the planet. and you might actually learn something
Ah, the feeling you get when you watch a blooper reel, and find yourself thinking “yeah, I could show this to someone who lived five thousand years ago, and they’d laugh, too”.
Evangelical Christians will believe in science and biology so long as it helps their narrative against trans folks, but refuse to believe in the science and biology behind women’s health, hormones fluctuations in men and women, climate change, drug and alcohol addiction, vaccines, health issues related to race, etc.
It was never about science and biology for them. They will gladly ignore all of the science and research done by the Mayo Clinic or the Yale Medical school so long as they can use “science” to dehumanize trans people. Just like it was never about the safety of women and children because look who they put in positions of power, not just in government. They will turn a blind eye to children being physically and sexually abused and deny that sexual assault and sexual harassment is a huge problem in the US while calling women liars and defending filthy rich predators. This is especially true for women of color and indigenous women.
why are all the actual real human jobs like baker and florist and childcare worker barely paying livable wages but the fake jobs like ai specialist boot licker or marketing campaign dick sucker making six figures
